"A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before."

"Thornhill Lodge was perfect for our family of 7 as a home base for exploration of the area. The house was spacious and comfortable and Ross was attentive to any problems/questions we had. Everyone having their own en suite bathroom was a great plus. The Lion and Unicorn right down the street and the small store directly across the street were a pleasant addition to our visit. "

"What can we say ? An absolute find of a place ! Amazing weekend away with friends and this beautiful house absolutely made it. Place was so clean for us arriving, amazingly comfy beds and all facilities just perfect. The hot tub is a fab addition - a few of us were hardly out of it. Cannot recommend enough x "

"Very spacious and comfortable house in a lovely, quiet location. The bedrooms are all a generous size, as is the well-equipped kitchen (we managed to prepare a 7-course meal for the 6 of us). It's a short and delightful drive from the house to the heart of the Cairngorms. And don't miss paying a visit to the friendly Persie gin distillery just 5 minutes from the house"

"We had been looking forward to our weekly stay in Scotland for almost 3 years. Sadly, the villa did not meet our high expectations. First, the villa was in a nice location in Blairgowrie with a large yard, and a quiet neighborhood. The house has great character but it is old and rustic. There are 10 bedrooms inside the main house and 8 cottages in the courtyard. Ten of them are king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. "Host Matt was very accommodating, place was very comfortable, clean. We stayed nine days and travelled in every direction from there. Close to town for groceries. "We had a great time in Killin. This property was excellent and as portrayed . There is a powder room on the ground floor and a separate closet with a washer (dryer is hot water based in same unit). 2 racks for drying damp clothes. Both bedrooms are upstairs one en-suite with shower and the other one has both shower and bath tub.The only watch out was a 200 GBP deposit that was not in VRBO description.Though accepted and normal I took off a star for this."
