Set in unspoiled mountain countryside with views over the forest and peaks, this old, stone farmhouse makes a wonderful retreat, far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The house has been beautifully restored to combine modern comforts without destroying the original features and architecture.
Spread over 2 floors, the house sleeps 8 people in comfort. On the ground floor is a spacious living area with flagstone floors and lovely wooden beamed ceilings. This room is the heart of the house, with comfortable armchairs, a large wooden dining table for communal meals, and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large gas range, oven, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer and coffee machine, plus antique storage cupboards and a large, wood-burning hearth.
The living room has a piano, chess set and even a telescope for star gazing at the clear alpine skies. Two double glass doors lead out from the room directly into the gardens.
The outside space has also been carefully thought out with a BBQ, dining table and chairs for meals al fresco, sun loungers and large parasols.
