"Great cosy place. Only disappointment was no toiletries when we arrived - we had to go to the shop and buy hand soap! 10% off pub nextdoor - food was ok, decent portions. Room was VERY warm. We turned thermostat off but still needed to open the front door at 1am to get some air. Bed is ok. Bring your own pillows! We had rubbish weather and found tv too small to watch anything. Luckily we bought our laptop. "

"What a fantastic getaway, we were met upon arrival although the details for getting into the property were emailed, i missed it! When we got in, there was a welcome gift of some lovely scones and clotted cream which was just the cherry on top as the accomodation was beutifull. The sofa and chair in the seating are were so comfortable and we spenf the morning of day 2 just chilling out there with a book due to the rain, the bed was so comfortable i could have stayed in it all day. "Walking distances to train and bus station. There is a bit of a walk up stairs with luggage. No elevator. The rooms are named after different places in area. "This hotel is located on the Promenade in Penzance with a fantastic view from the hotel restaurant overlooking the sea. Breakfast is fine. No sandy beach just around the corner, but a huge pool area only about 300 metres away and the harbour and town centre close by too. Nice surroundings and a beautiful subtropical park in the back garden. Easy walk to and from the station but would recom-mend taxi if carrying luggage. Stay a few days on your trip around Cornwall, and you will be fine."
