Everything we needed was supplied.The bedrooms are a bit tight to move in but otherwise ok.maybe a wall fan in the bunk room? "Fantastic stay. Great location - easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a winery and some rainforest walks. Owner was very friendly and we were lucky enough that they could accommodate an early check in for us. Highly recommend the Blue Wren cottage. It was at the back of the property with a private verandah and the cottage had everything we needed."

"Amazing place with a walking distance to a beach with no car traffic. Will be back If I could change one more thing, I would add a ceiling fan in every room, including the alfresco and kitchen. The breeze is fantastic but it's not always present."

"This is a really small house, tiny kitchen, no pantry, or dishwasher, laundry is outside in carport. So I would not stay for longer than a couple nights. Would be suitable for a family with younger children. Also the fenced yard is teeny tiny, and 4ft fences. I could not leave my dog unattended in there as she would jump that in 2 seconds flat, no space for her to run around either (German shepherd). Would be find for little dogs. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock. And only one tea towel...

"We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent beds. House was comfortable, homely and maintained to a high standard. Equipped with anything you’d need to self cater or stay longer than a week. The aircon worked well on the few chilly nights. Located in a quiet neighbourhood a short stroll from the water with beautiful bird life in and around the yard. Host Michaela was friendly, thoughtful and helpfully provided information about the island. We would happily stay again."

"This property was pretty good. Very relaxed. We stayed in a beach shack, it was pretty minimal for the price. The bathroom walls are not insulated making the bathroom a sauna during the day. On check out day, you are directed to empty the rubbish. This is annoying. I'm on holiday, I've paid for an over-priced room, yet I have to empty the bins before I go. Isn't this what the cleaning staff are paid for? Not the vibe for me. "

Yet, when you where keept awak well beyond 2am of music, and waking up at 5am of people showting their lungs out from the balcony below, one can get a bit fed up. Tiny chiwawas running around and barking in the hallway was also rather surprising, particularly as I was under the impression that this was a no pet hotel, with extensive CCTV.
