"I booked a two night stay at this historic Inn. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations and I had to cut my stay short. The bathroom was in such bad repair and smelled like sewage that I refused to use it, which is why we chose to leave after only one night. The place has great potential and the staff is very sweet, but the place is dilapidated and in serious need of repair especially the bathroom of the Jefferson suite. "Very large suite in lower level of older building. Separate entrance off of back parking lot. Two reserved parking spaces right near back door made it very convenient. Did I mention how large the suite is? Nicely renovated, very large modern bathroom. Painted concrete floor with throw rugs, so bring slippers. Great location at the end of Davis Street so we could easily walk out and enjoy the nice stores, fun restaurants. Next to the historic visitor center and museum."

"nice property, far away from everything. Large mid century ranch with plenty of room / all the amenities you need. As noted in other reviews, wireless service and internet / wifi was spotty but I would return. 90 minutes from DC"

"I had a very nice week visiting family. The basement apt. was very clean and comfortable. The only difficulty was on street parking in a crowded neighborhood however, I never had to park more than a block away from the property. It is close to town snd shopping and I will recommend them to friends and family. "

"Mark was a great host and this house fit our needs perfectly. We especially loved the area outdoors and view outside. We're hopeful to rent the house again!"

"The room smelled like mold and cigarettes even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking, the walls are so thin that any conversation a person in a neighboring room is having can be heard. And the only heat source was some kind of AC wall unit that literally started smoking when turned on. When I told the owner about the fire hazard he completely dismissed me and actually laughed at my concern. Do not stay here."
