"I stayed at Mangrove Beach Corendon with my mother and daughter for 5 days in December 2024. We had some issues with the room which was rectified after telling the staff about it 3 times. The food needed some variety since everyday was basically the same thing. My only thing I didn't like about the property is that it had cats which came out at night alone which made me not enjoy the property to the fullest. "We liked the proximity to the beach, access to good snorkeling and scuba diving. The food was great in all restaurants. We liked the proximity for easy access to down town (10-15 minutes by car) and access to the beaches towards West Punt. The staff are all very pleasant and service was great. "Kontiki is a nice resort. The lagoons are nice and the tropical jungle atmosphere is very cool. However the normal rooms are a bit dated and need some renovation. After one night we switched to the penthouse suite which was absolutely amazing but a bit costly. It made the whole remainder of the stay excellent I will add. Special shout out to Oliver and the housekeeping crew who always went above and beyond. No matter day or night Oliver took time to come over and chat and check to see everything...

"The property is new and appealing, the staff is very friendly and the food is good. The reservation for many of the restaurants is a bit anoying because it is either always full or closed, I stayed 2 nights but could not go to any of the restaurants that require reservation. So try to reserve in advance"
