"I have now been staying at Fort Young a good handful of times and it is always a pleasure to visit. The rooms have been done up since my last visit and some sort of construction was still going on outside but not disturbing. In general a great stay as always but avoid they breakfast. "Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. My jaw was on the floor 😍 I enjoyed my stay. Thank you"

"The property was superb. It consists of 6 separate air conditioned cottages with ample space. Excellent dining on sight. Nice swimming pool and ocean views. Alicia is the owner and she was extremely helpful in terms of recommendations, making reservations, etc.. When Alicia was not available her associate Sheldon filled in. The staff was top notch. The downside of Dominica is the poor roads and infrastructure. We rented a car and found driving on the narrow serpentine roads stressful. ...
