"This hotel prides itself on being a family owned 5 star luxury hotel with a Michelin restaurant. Most staff effort seem to be focused on getting hotel guests into the Michelin restaurant opposed to making guests comfortable in their rooms. I've stayed in plenty of international 5 star luxury hotels and Le Phébus is sadly nowhere near international 5 star class. Sadly a few - to me - important factors are missing: 1) Failure of staff to react or rectify a very noisy air conditioning...

"We had a great stay! Front desk staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Place was clean. Lourmarin is a cute, small town. It was a nice, quiet change of pace from our prior travels to Nice and Cannes. If you are here on a Friday, you must go to the market in town. Highly recommend. "

"This is a lovely little hotel in a peaceful hilltop village in Provence - quite idyllic really. Lovely room and the restaurant and bar looked very cosy although were not open the evening we were there. Had it been, we would definitely have eaten there. Very gracious and pleasant host who was very helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. No parking at hotel but very close by along road."
