"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fittings and decor are a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable and the linen and towels were lovely. I would suggest getting a room nearer the back of the hotel, we were on the front and it was rather noisy from the pub next door. Although the parking may seem a little complicated it's good value for being in the town and we extended the next morning at a better rate than if we had moved it. "It it a really nice location with beautiful surroundings and the service and facilities are nice. Gym, spa and pool were good. The service weas excellent. Only thing to mention are the doors to the rooms that really needs a check. Really loud sqeeking and sound when you open and close. Could be heard loudly in the halls Likewise the doors in the rooms. ALso the food in the restaurant should be improved to match the price. Too simple servings. But I recommend to try the place !"

"Our two night stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff, especially Steph on reception went over and above to make sure we had everything we wanted. Everyone we encountered was polite, helpful and a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was superb and kept very well stocked, the bar food was also great. Bedroom clean, had everything we needed and comfortable. We will be back "

"Excellent service. The room that I was allocated had a strong smell of aftershave. Mentioning this to the lady at the reception, she immediately arranged for me to change to another room that was also bigger. My only wish would have been working light at the desk. Besides this I was happy with my stay."

"I did not like the fact that there was no parking, and I had to go round looking for places to park which I had to pay as well. Free parking in some areas starts at 6pm, checking in was 2pm. Carrying bags from parking areas to the booked place was difficult, its uphill and it was raining, so it was a bit of a challenge for me. There was a lot of noise from the pub which come straight to the bedrooms, to an extent that I could hardly hear my TV. There was life music in the Pub, so I could not...
