"Outside of the hotel didn’t look promising, but the inside of the room looked very updated and modern and clean, very close to Kurt’s island for bait if your on a ice fishing trip, right near the water, and within walking distance from the bars and restaurants downtown. "Very nice, updated hotel and the price was right. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and the lobby is very welcoming. Our room was very modern, and everything was in top condition. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom The bathroom had an amazing shower that felt like a good massage. It was a little on the small size, because there wasn't much room, but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were wonderful. Even with the temperatures at -22 below...

"The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

"Our group likes weekday fall trips once school is in session. We chose Bolger Lake, just a stones throw from Minocqua. Beautiful home and property. The sauna was a pleasant surprise, and several ways to enjoy the lakeside setting. Recommend to adults and families. Close to everything Minocqua has to offer."

"Fantastic resort for winter beauty. It was very quiet and felt remote. There were no issues, but would have liked to talk to the office more about the resort, but due to the time of year and occupancy, the office hours were limited."
