This place is unremarkable, pictures on the site are unrepresentative and service is horrible. 1) service: This hotel is in the gold hotel.com rewards program. As gold members we should therefore be offered both a free drink and a complimentary upgrade if available. On this particular day the hotel was mostly empty. Upon check-in the person at the front desk entirely refused to provide either rewards although acknowledging that it was clearly stated...

"The property was conveniently located across the street Kings Dominion Amusement Park. Location was near our daughter's college at Randolph Macon. The property was a little outdated and the edge of the property and train tracks had a lot of trash like people had been living behind the hotel. Needs to be cleaned by staff weekly at the least. But otherwise, we would stay there again definitely!"

"Overall great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room showed a bit of wear and tear compared to other Hilton properties I’ve stayed at. Kitchenette was well equipped. Shower took a long time to heat up as well as the heat in the bedroom room area. Breakfast was good decent options. Location was great walkable to train and restaurants. Partially booked to try out the rooftop restaurant but it was under construction when we arrived. "
