"I've stayed here several times over a period of years. The staff are ALWAYS terrific! Free breakfast included -- a bonus, but limited variety if you stay three weeks as I do. Occasionally there's hot water for a shower. The rooms are starting to look run-down, but compared to other places, this is still a very good place to stay."

"Beautiful gardens and location with jungle mountains in the background. There is a pool on the way which will be a real bonus. The host retired Aussie Trevor and wife Jessa really make you feel like you're at home,while Ramil who apart from being a jack of all trades is a fantastic cook and takes care of any requests you may have. Jupiter's is a fun bar to hang out at night and sing a song if your keen."

"Great value for the price. Good AC 👍 Hot showers 👍 Bring your own toiletries. No division on toilet and shower so floor is wet, no bathroom mats. But we were able to manage though. 24hr security and staff were all very accomodating. "

"I recently stayed at this hotel with my family and overall had a positive experience, but there are a few significant drawbacks to note. Cons: The main issue during my stay was the construction noise on the ground, third, and fourth floors. It was quite disruptive, making it hard to relax. Additionally, there was a lot of noise from street traffic, including trikes and motorcycles, which added to the overall disturbance. "Our favorite place to stay in the Tacloban area. The staff is always wonderful and the restaurant downstairs is great. If you don’t want to be in the city, this is the perfect place. "

"Obviously, the property is old already. I checked in on this hotel when it was still Hotel D Angelo and it was a bit okay. 20 years after, hotel needs to be renovated. Very evident that it is really old. No shampoo and soap provided. No dental kit, no free bottled water and no toilet paper. To think that its rate is expensive compared to other hotels in the same area"

"I called the property to make sure they are wheelchair friendly. They said yes since they have elevator but they didn't mention that there comfort room (CR) was on another level of the room. Hence, it was difficult for our elderly who needed to use the many times the CR."
