THE SPACE:

Starting with breathtaking views all the way to the Laguna Mountains, this La Mesa tropical oasis is a vacation dream come true. Our vibrant and playful backyard is your own personal resort with a HUGE suspended deck area featuring a pool with/a diving board, hot tub, tropical tiki bar, and multiple social areas. There is a luxurious bed for sleeping under the stars, a shady cabana with a fire feature dining table next to the built-in grill, a comfy seating area with a fire table and patio heaters for cooler nights, and sun loungers. Neon selfie walls, pool toys, a ping pong table, and a corn hole area enhance the family fun, and the entire backyard positively glows at night with custom ambient LED lighting.

Inside the residence offers both stylish comfort and family-friendly spaces. A living room with sliders overlooking the pool and a Smart TV seamlessly connects to the eat-in kitchen. Great for foodies and social butterflies alike, the open kitchen is fully equipped with a comprehensive housewares package and all major appliances – including a smart refrigerator. There’s room for everyone to eat with a retro round dining table, bar seating at the island, and even a sweet outdoor breakfast bar off the kitchen window!

When downtime is needed, escape to one of 4 private bedrooms in the main part of the house. Each room is styled with amazingly soft linens, has a smart TV, and offers great sleeping arrangement options for any group in the following configuration:

Bedroom 1 – Main ensuite w/ King Bed & full bathroom w/shower
Bedroom 2 – Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 – Queen-over-Queen bunk
Bedroom 4 – Single bunk over 2 single beds

A second bathroom with a large walk-in tile shower and farm-style sink keeps the morning and evening routines on schedule.

Traveling with extended family members or in a group? We have a fantastic private studio for that! The attached studio is spacious, bright, and filled with every creature comfort one would find in a single-family home. A seating area, fireplace, Smart TV, dining table, deluxe kitchenette, king-size bed, and full bath with large walk-in shower are smartly arranged in this ultra-private space. There’s a separate entrance from the driveway and even a slider leading to the backyard oasis!

GUEST ACCESS:

The entire house and grounds including the pool and entertainment deck, laundry appliances, driveway, and front yard are exclusively available to guests. You will enjoy complete privacy throughout the property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

-We follow enhanced cleaning protocols between stays, focusing on high-touched surfaces.

-The home has central HVAC to maintain a comfortable temperature year-round.

-Please note that this is a family-friendly neighborhood, so quiet hours must be observed, especially at night.

-The pool can be heated for an extra fee, based on fluctuating SDGE gas prices. Please inquire about pricing prior to booking. The jacuzzi heating is always free.

-A pet fee of $100 per pet applies for up to two small dogs. Cats are only permitted with pre-approval from host.

-There is an extra guest fee of $50 per night per guest which applies after 10 guests.

-Arrangements for early check-in/late check-out must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. We need to coordinate with our cleaners' schedule to accommodate these requests.
Check-in is 4:00 pm or later. Early check-in is subject to availability. Please check with us regarding fees for early check-in. Check-out is at 10:00 am. A $100 fee will be charged for every 20 minutes past 10:00 am. After 1:00 pm, an additional one night’s fee will be automatically charged to your account plus a late fee.

The landscaper will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Tuesday or Wednesday, weather permitting. The pool technician will be scheduled for weekly maintenance on Fridays. If you have a pet, please make sure they're safely tucked inside.

Only the number of guests listed in the reservation are permitted to be on the property unless the host is notified and approves the additional guests in advance. Please note that if the number of guests exceeds 12, an additional fee will be incurred for each extra guest. Quiet hours are from 9 pm-8 am. Host reserves the right to discontinue reservation if quiet hours rules are violated and penalties may apply.

There are security cameras throughout the exterior of the property. Noiseaware sensors can be found inside and outside of the property. The purpose of these sensors is to notify hosts if the noise is sustained above a certain threshold. Normal conversation will not trigger alerts.

No smoking is permitted inside the home. Smoking is only allowed outside. All windows/doors must be closed and all cigarette butts disposed of properly. Vomit, stool, or blood on the property is considered a biohazard cleaning and will result in extra fees.

There is a pet fee of $100 which covers up to two pets. All pets must be authorized prior to check-in.

Smart home thermostats are available for guests. Windows/doors must be shut while running heat/AC. Temperature can be adjusted on-site, but temperature limits are set.

Pool Rules: There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. No glass is allowed in the pool area.

The pool can be heated upon request, but fees may fluctuate based on the current market price to compensate for the rising SDGE natural gas prices. Please inquire about current pricing and promotions. The pool heater is remotely operated. Please let us know in advance, preferably at the time of booking, if you would like pool heating. Note that it can take up to ten hours to heat the pool to 82 degrees, especially if it is cold outside. Fees must be paid before heating can commence.

Do not tamper with pool equipment. Weekly pool cleaning is every Friday. Our pool technician has been instructed to knock on the door before he goes into the backyard, but if no one answers the door, he will get started on cleaning the pool. Please do not burn objects or drop food items on the outdoor fire table.
