"I grew up in the area. It's nice to visit with an "old friend". Easy on the hip pocket, friendly helpful staff and within walking distance of everything you need. Even if I don't require accommodation, a trip to "The Aussie" is a must whenever I travel to Boonah/Fassifern Valley/Scenic Rim!"

"Enjoyed our stay at Gatekeepers. Very quiet, clean and perfect accomodation for our getaway enjoying the beautiful views across the valley. Loved sitting on the verandah whilst the bird life visited morning & evening and the horses reached out for a loving pat. I could watch the cattle grazing everyday (but then wait) adventure awaited in the faraway mountains with endless mountain streams running beneath the forest canopies a bushwalkers paradise. Thankyou Craig for allowing us to enjoy...

"This is a classic country motel, nothing flash but clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable short stay. Air conditioning, a fan, mirrors, extra pillows, good access to power points and lamp switches and well placed bins. It is also a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Boonah."

"Utrolig dejligt sted. Lækker værelser med terrasse ud til sø. Om morgen kom der kænguruer forbi lige uden for terrassen. De har en god restaurant på stedet. "

"Staff were extremely helpful especially with my out of hours check in. The Frangipani room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and wonderful room facilities. A beautifup place to stay."

"House was great, location and four-legged friends were delightful! Hosts were lovely, but we had to rely on face-to-face contact as there’s no wifi or phone reception in the area, which would have been great to know ahead of time! On arrival we were short on a few essentials like hand soaps, body wash and extra toilet paper, but overall our stay was excellent! Thanks Nara!"

"Beware, this property has sold and is not currently trading as a B&B, despite last minute indicating the booking was confirmed. We arrived on the booked date for check in only to discover the owner had sold & was packing up the house to relocate. Thankfully the host, who was extremely apologetic, provided us with a recommendation to the ‘Bunyip’ close by, which was an amazing stay & is highly recommended!! The weekend was salvaged & thoroughly enjoyed! 😄"
