What an incredible view – watching the sun rise over the ocean in the morning to watching the sun set over the mountains from the same balcony. Mel was a great host – not only providing such a personalised touch with suggestions for the area, but having everything possible in the house. "Michael was the perfect host. Explained the functions of the house and its facilities. In its heyday it would have been an architectural statement but time has rather turned it into a faded present. The views are still to die for, the location is secluded and private and it is centrally located to explore the whole range. However the house was not as spotless as earlier guests had commented. "Stayed here with my elderly parents and my middle aged sister / nephew. House was immaculate and pool delightful. Particularly enjoyed the a/c on hot days - also the hot pool showers after a pool swim. I must have misunderstood but I thought there was a bbq was available in the garden - this was our low key cooking plan for our stay. It turned out there is a communal bbq, but it’s a 5 minute drive away and the opening / closing of security gates made accessing this a significant challenge....
