"We have stayed at the crown spa a few times now. We know Scarborough well and find this hotel in an excellent position with everything within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean and we also enjoyed the swimming pool and gym areas. The staff were very polite and friendly. "

"Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves."

"Nice place, would stay again. Breakfast is awesome. Most of the staff are friendly, bathroom was clean, staircases are clean, modern furnishings. Owner was lovely. Only downside was that the beds were quite uncomfortable and it was roasting hot, even with the radiators off and the window open. But good value for what we paid. "

"Lovely hotel but there were a lot of stairs to the room,also there was no one around when checking in just had messages on how to get to room would have preferred someone there."

"We had a fantastic stay. The bed was comfy, the room was small but functional with all nice high quality amenities. Bathroom was clean and well decorated with a modern look. Breakfast included and it was the best full English I’ve had in years. No skimping on quality. Price on taps for beer was pretty high but it’s a hotel. They always are. Beautiful building and surroundings. I have no hesitation that we will be coming back. "

"Really enjoyed our stayed. Friendly hosts. Nice room. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities, including homemade biscuits. Toiletries also provided, and dressing gowns and slippers. Great breakfast. Would happily stay there again."

"Property fantastic location to town, very easy parking, very welcoming, full English breakfast great , very quiet, dint here any other users even though fully booked, dog friendly. Traditional guest house got more than we expected. Great host. "
