"We stopped here to break up a long road trip and we couldn’t be happier! We loved the quiet country setting, especially with the distant view of the horses in the fields across the street. The yard is massive and we loved walking around with our pup near the river. The neighbors do have 2 dogs but they seemed friendly and well behaved. "Cute little farmhouse, perfect for a fall getaway. Close to both Shenandoah National park and Harrisonburg.The hosts were very organized with notes throughout the house giving details on how to operate appliances, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and the living room had a guest book with every guest’s recommendations in the area. Very homey."

"Local staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Only minor issue - we checked in after dark. Unit numbers were hard to see from the road. Maybe some reflective paint? Not a real ding and certainly not a problem during daylight hours. We'll be back!"

"This place is spectacular! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at one jims cabins. And this time is snowed and it was just beautiful. "Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. No WiFi or cabin itself so I skied up closer to the main house to pick it up when needed. Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings! Will definitely return in warmer weather to check out the...
