"Fantastisk service! Selvom vi ankom knap to timer efter de egentlig var stoppet med at servere scones fik vi the og scones i biblioteket. Vi fik præcis det værelse jeg havde bedt om - og et håndskrevet velkomstkort. Slotshaven er eventyrlig. Middagen i restauranten var perfekt. Hvis du leder efter en romantisk overnatning i den engelske 'countryside' så fås det ikke bedre end Thornbury Castle!"

"Melville Castle was such a highlight on our trip. The room was gorgeous, the bed was comfy, and shower was incredible. The entire castle was decorated for the holidays and it was so cozy and charming. We ate dinner in the restaurant and HIGHLY recommend. We will absolutely be back"

"Vi boede i et værelse i selve slottet (værelse 8), der lå på 3. sal (det bør man absolut unde sig selv, for det var magisk!). Der er en del trapper, men der er en lift. Vi var meget tilfredse med vores ophold - personalet var meget søde og imødekommende. Slottets indretning er utrolig flot! Vi kommer igen, hvis vi er på de kanter."

"Before and during our stay John, the host, was always attentive and supportive. Mandy who is the on-site Manager was lovely and really helpful and was there to meet us when we arrived. Because we live local to the area Mandy was good enough to allow my mum and grandkids have a look around this historical property too. It is an amazing old building dating back to the 13th century. There was a good combination of old features particularly in the main entrance and sitting room and also luxury well...
