"Lovely property with a set up that was perfect for our extended family group. Older couple with daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids, 6 and 3. The kids loved to pool and were in it every day. The location is in a quiet, leafy area just south of the main streets of Port Douglas a short 8 mins. away by car. The photos of the site are exactly as depicted. Plenty of towels and pool towels all provided."

"Liked the private pool and the general one. Also liked the spa. Private pool was a bit dirty with leaves all around. Good to have a BBQ. Did not like that it felt like you had dirt under your feet all the time. All uo a great location though."

"It’s like having your own private resort. Generous sized bedrooms. Separate sleeping quarters and granny flat from the house allows for a retreat from the main living areas. An added bonus, nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom with four bathrooms and five toilets in total - very beneficial for a large group. If considering booking during summer, keep in mind the living area is not air-conditioned and the pool is not covered. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas getaway. "

"Our time at the Daintree and the Barn was such a treat! The house and pool were fabulous and just as we expected. We got a lot of rain (rainy season, duh), and we would open the big doors and watch the rain off the deck. Such a magical experience! "
