Lake Garda Holiday
Villa Dei Roccoli is a wonderfully large, terraced property up on the mountain looking down over Toscolano-Maderno and Lake Garda. It is about a 8min drive up from the center of town. Sylvia and her team at Garda Reservations were excellent with communication and instructions on checking in. Villa Dei Roccoli seems to be a home that was renovated into a restaurant/event space at some point. Now a vacation rental. The villa's main kitchen area was converted into a commercial kitchen and is completely locked off. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms along with a small kitchen. A central room that connects these has a bar/service counter area that doesn't serve much purpose for a vacation rental. This space could be better utilized. The air-conditioning on the lower levels works very well in all rooms. The upstairs apartment has 3 bedrooms, kitchen and a half bath. The air-conditioner up stairs works but it only services the central part of the apartment. These bedrooms get very warm. All in all the house served its purpose and worked well for us. If the main kitchen area were opened up this property would be a fantastic rental. It would make cooking and entertaining a group so much better. There a 2 great patios for dining.1 with sliding doors all around. The pool was perfect. There is a caretaker on site that cleans the pool every morning. Breakfast delivered every morning was great! With a little more work this property is top tier. We enjoyed it very much.
