"We were in Kingsport to visit relatives and needed a place to stay. This house was clean, comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We didn’t need to cook, so I can’t speak to that. The only negative I have to say is that the air freshener was too strong when we first got there. It made us wonder if it was going to smell bad when it wore off but it didn’t. The house didn’t need it. I’d definitely stay here again and just ask the host to hold the air freshener. "

"Everything was so clean. The driveway is very steep but was manageable. The owner was super easy to communicate with when small things came up. The family loved the hot tub. Fabulous place to stay."

"The house was perfect for our stay, with two separate living spaces (upstairs and down), spacious kitchen and open floor plan and the views! Sunrises over the lake and an awesome screened porch. We will stay here again! The hosts were kind to decorate with a tree and other Christmas decor. "

Father in law wanted to visit some old friends from when he lived there and this home worked perfectly for us to bring him and mom down from Michigan to do so ! John was excellent host and very accommodating for our early arrival. "

"A perfect getaway! We were in town for a wedding, and were so glad we chose this cottage over a hotel. The views of the water and the sun setting were the icing on the cake. It was clean, comfortable, plenty of dishes if you want to whip up a gourmet meal. I wish we had time to use the dock and campfire area, but will for sure next time we are out there. Plenty of wild life to see, just be careful driving at night! Kurt was very responsive and we will be back! K and J"

"We were only able to stay for 2 nights but had a blast. The pool was wonderful, as was the Jacuzzi. Great beds, best blankets ever, large plush towels. The house was beautiful and stocked with everything you could want or need. Thank you for making our short trip memorable :)"
