"The cabin was cozy and easily accessible. Be aware that the 1 bedroom has a double bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (bring a memory foam if you have back/joint pain). The twin bed is located in the same bedroom and has a more comfortable mattress but is low to the floor. We loved the history of the cabin and the heating system is excellent! Kitchen and living room are spacious. No toaster."

"This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated.
