I’ve waited an over a week to calm down and write this a fairly as possible. I started writing the review and exceeded Expedia’s word count. Here instead is the list.
Multiple attempts to contact spa with no response starting 10 days prior to the trip.
Multiple calls to front desk on arrival day. No answer.
Arrived at 4ish and room was not clean and ready. Was finally able to make it to the room a little after 5.
Night 1: Mentioned room was strangely cold and there was a draft. Told to turn up the thermostat. Still cold. Had to use towels to block draft from windows. 9 pm requested 2 blankets and was told they only had one spare blanket for entire hotel. After they looked again found another blanket.
Next morning: website indicated breakfast ended at 10 but actually ended at 9. We were downstairs at 8 and it was sad. I have seen fresher better breakfasts at a holiday in or HoJo. The hot water for tea had mold in it. Staff responded with “oh”.
Still cold. Maintenance called. We had no heat in our room. Waited an hour to hear from front desk. Went down to ask about it and was told to wait another hour for room. Moved rooms. Clean linens, clean bathroom, coffee cup rings on multiple surfaces. Angry and tired. I cleaned them.
Day 4 checkout morning. Had NOT checked out yet at 930. Room keys deactivated. Had to be let into room. At check out asked for a call from manager. No call as of a week plus later. Stay away! Run!
