"A Danish family of four travelling the world. Below my honest thoughts on our stay which was 6 nights all together. Pool and beach area as expected. Rooms a little dated and below our expectations. Friendliness of staff is good. Resort restaurants very expensive for what I would rate as standard food. Burger for example is 46 tala. Breakfast is a buffet with huge selection, but with few tempting dishes. This hotel facilities equals a 3 star European hotel, but expensive. Laundry service is...

"It's a great example of a family run Samoan beach front falle, the family who own it and the wider village are super friendly, the location is stunning, palm trees over quiet sandy beaches. Shared toilet facilities, the food is very good, bring talla as there is no electronic payment and they have a lovely bar over the beach, perfect for a few beers and watching the sun go down. "

"Return to Paradise is a truly special place. For us it was important to support the island not a large multi national which was one of the reasons for choosing here. We absolutely made the right choice and felt like one of the family. The reef directly in front of the hotel is superb, the trips were wonderful (the turtles and giant clams were a highlight for me). It was a genuine home away from home, not a flashy faceless resort. We certainly loved it."

"To be clear: * There's no ensuites in the fales. Bathroom is a shared block. * There's no soaps, shampoo etc * There's no hot water. (Given the temps of Samoa many places don't have hot water. "Resort location beautiful, with CHOGM and impending kings arrival this took most of the staffs attention. Dining options were limited, bars were closed early, day trips online weren’t available, no welcome drink on arrival. Staff regularly arguing at reception"

"we arrived as planned late at night and were shown to our room by the driver. There were pools of rainwater on the floor. The AC outside the window was making a humming noise which made it impossible to sleep. We were given a ground-floor room although we had been promised a 1st-floor room. Although we were moved upstairs the next day, this was just the beginning of a not-very-successful stay. The grounds and the rooms are ok (apart from the noisy AC), but the staff appears tired and...
