We are the only true river front property in Van Buren ... just few steps down the sidewalk to the waters edge and concrete platform .. newly remodeled 3 bedroom two bath... Massive deck just a few feet from the water ..!
Lovely fire pit on the rivers edge . Save money by bringing your favorite raft, tube or kayak and float from town to the private dock...( about 2 miles )
Or for a fee , local concessions will pick up your group and haul you up river for a longer trip.

Relax at the River
Great location, great home. It was advertised with Wifi which did not work so no TV and no connectivity for our devices We had to purchase step stools as the beds were very high and our group was short. Lovely spot to visit and enjoy the Current. We would come back if we knew we had Wifi with internet

Excellent Stay
Wonderful little vacation. The cabin was great with lots of room and scenery. The beds were very nice and comfortable. Wifi fast and reliable. Easy walk down to the river. Area was quiet. Very relaxing. Host was quick to respond to messages/questions through vrbo app. Would highly recommend this site. Thank you.

Riverfront gorgeous
The riverfront cabin was absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and enjoy the property. The only “complaints” of the stay was having the previous renters sheets, towels, etc. still in the wash and we had to complete the laundry cycle. We folded up and had no idea where to put the items so it stayed in the middle of the house on the coffee table. The house at a glance is clean, however, the floors were fairly gross and nothing had been moved to clean behind.( I will just leave it at that.) With this being said, we would definitely stay at this residence again. The stay overall was GREAT!!

Great house, right on the river
The house was beautiful, right on the river. We spent the evenings outside on the deck, listenjng to the sounds of the water. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to prepare meals, if you wanted to. The beds were very comfortable. You were far enough out of town for it to be quiet and peaceful but still close enough if you needed something from the store/station. There is some steps leading from the property down to the river front which was nice. We had one unfortunate issue, but the host was quick to fix it for us. No complaints from anyone in my group. I would definitely rent from Brian again. Thanks for a great weekend.

Beautiful Riverfront Setting
Location, location, location! It’s all about the view off the back deck. Located in a quiet residential area beside Current River within a mile of Van Buren. Spacious kitchen area for preparing and cooking meals. Covered patio table on deck was incredible for enjoying family dinners. The kids brought our own tubes and floated right up to the house after their float trip. Wrap around huge sofa for enjoying a movie in evening, or a tv in every bedroom if you prefer.

Pre Back To School Getaway
This is the second time my wife and I have taken our grandkids to this VRBO cabin. They simply love it and never want to go home at the end. Probably the greatest selling point for us is that it always feels very secluded even though there are other homes on each side but rarely anyone there, as well as being right on the river and only 2 miles from Van Buren! Rather than go into great detail, suffice it to say this is a property my family greatly appreciates being available to rent and hopefully will be around for a long time!

Nice place
Very nice place. We enjoyed the many hikes available in the area and went horseback riding one afternoon. The cabin is right on the water and has all the essentials. Brian was very informative and helpful.

On the River
My family loved the deck. We took elderly father to the river, his favorite. The cabin is elevated, sitting very near the river. Dad took the stairs slowly, but once on the deck, he enjoyed! Large trees shade the deck, so falling leaves and debris can’t be helped. A broom is handy and useful. We used the gas grill, outdoor dining area and the downstairs fire ring. All very accommodating. The cabin certainly supplies all anyone may need. Beds are nice and very tall. Couches are plush. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Nice ,clean, fire pit and firewood nice touch. only complaint cleaning lady came in will we were relaxing, on her defense our vehicle wasn't there, but would have though at least know the schedule and a knock on the door before come on in.

Waking up to that view, WOW. We will be back for sure!
Two miles from downtown Van Buren and The Landing but you can't hear a sound other than the flowing Current River and wildlife. We never heard a peep from our neighbors nor did they hear a peep from us. Beautiful home and Brian was nice enough to text back and forth a little humor. The beds were comfortable. The stars and moon are actually larger and brighter than in St. Louis. The neighbors hounds came and sat with us the last day of our stay. Thank you again Brian!

Our weekend at the cabin
Nice location , property does need some attention and maintenance. Bathroom tiles are cracked and needs replaced. Hardly any cooking dishes , pot and pans . Glad we had most of it cooked before we got there. Also propane tank for grill was empty, had to go fill it right off the bat. Overall 3 stars . No bashing at all, just needs some attention

Awesome location, but bats and ants
Excellent location that is right on the river. Would probably rate it 4-5 five stars but there are bats living in the in the soffits for sure and probably the attic. When we arrived we noticed a significant pile of bat crap by the back slider that goes to the deck. We removed it daily during our stay, but I am sure we were tracking it into the house. We found one dead bat on the deck and another injured on on the deck furniture. Owner says they are endangered species that he is working on eradicating. It’s a premium property at a premium price and I don’t think it’s right to rent it until the bats are removed. Owner should disclose the bat issue to renters in advance, but he doesn’t think it’s a health issue. We would have likely canceled if he would have disclosed it.

Outstanding Current Riverfront property
Our stay was a "End of Summer/Back to School" Vacation with 5 of our Grandchildren. We always try to go somewhere they can be outside a lot. The Current River in Missouri is a great place for water related activities and we have been on its entire length many times in our lives, but mostly camping as the majority of the upper sections are part of the National Scenic Riverways. This area is one of the first places outside the Riverways area that has Private homes on the River. We greatly enjoyed the stay and the Cabin. Our host and owner, Brian, was very helpful in answering questions relative to the activities we had planned! This home has an extremely large deck that is partially covered that we really enjoyed and the "spring fed" nature of the Current River, as well as mutiple shade trees nearby, helped to keep it very comfortable outside!... we even used the firepit even though it was in the middle 90"s outside to roast hot dogs and "smores" for the kids, without being uncomfortable. There was even a large supply of wood provided by the owner. Even thou there was no picture of the outside of the House on the VRBO website, it is a very nice "Log slab Cabin/Home... with a concrete walkway and steps into the River creating a perfect Eddy to put my small canoe in and take out. The cabin was very neat with a very large couch with multiple reclining backs that the grandkids thought was awesome! If there was anything to suggest to provide, it might be more glasses and plates. While there was enough, it looked like some may have "disappeared" over time, but we usually come prepared with paper plates etc any way so, not a big deal for us. So, in short, we would and hope, to stay there again!

Beautiful, peaceful location
Beautiful property with large deck overlooking the river, firepit, and large front yard for the kids to play. The house is set up well for families with a large kitchen and living space. We vacationed with another family and brought kids ages 10-13. Everyone agreed it was a great set up. Small issue on arrival was immediately resolved by the owner. Great stay- thanks!

Spectacular
Clean, nice furnishings, spacious, a perfect location. Offers relaxation inside or outside. So close to the water, the sound magical. My 3 year niece’s words, I could live here for ever and ever! I agreed! Exceptional host.
