The house opens onto an access hallway that divides the various rooms; the first spaces one encounters are the two living areas, both furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs. Continuing a little further on there is the independent kitchen, equipped with every comfort including oven, dishwasher and microwave, and an elegant staircase leading to the upper floor where the sleeping area includes three bedrooms, all with queen-size beds. Two bathrooms, both with windows, shower and bidet, complete the layout.
Finally, a magnificent outdoor space that develops between garden and terrace, all surrounded by a splendid view of Lake Como.
Villa Guardini takes its name from Romano Guardini (1885-1968) essayist, philosopher and theologian, was one of the major figures in 20th-century European cultural history. Between 1923 and 1926, during a summer vacation in this house, he wrote "Letters from Lake Como."

Varenna is the ideal place for a walk along the lake, its old town is famous for its peculiar alleys and the Walk of the Lovers, which connects the pier with the village. On the promontory overlooking Varenna you can also visit the Castle of Vezio, dating back to the second century BC, from to admire a 360 degree view. Nature is the frame of this territory and through paths and walks, such as the Greenway of the Patriarchs and the Wayfarer’s Pat, you can immerse yourself in the discovery of views and landscapes rich in history.
Connected to Menaggio and Bellagio by ferry service, it is also easily accessible from Switzerland, thanks to its central location on the eastern branch of Lake Como.
