"Very cute cabin with fireplace and jacuzzi. Host provided firewood - which was a nice touch. Cabin is on dead end private road so, as mentioned, very peaceful. Lots of snow so no deck access, but imagine it would be great in summer too."

"This is our second day at the house and once again we had a wonderful visit. House is clean well stocked for cooking, clean beds and bathroom and a classic A-frame style. Direct access off the back deck down to the water was key as we ice fished directly behind the house. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for getaway in northern Vermont.. "

"We had a really nice stay. Tim was very kind and inviting, made sure check in was a breeze, and was helpful with recommendations. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is great, as is the view. Bed was comfortable but is also on wheels which was a problem for our dog going under the bed. "We had a great time at the house. It had everything we needed and an added benefit of being one floor with no steps for those with mobility issues (we had someone in a wheel chair and it was perfect). It was so pretty to be on the lake and wake up to ice fishers getting their day started. It was an easy drive to Middlebury Snowbowl and Breadloaf. And a quick 20 minuets to campus. We'll have to keep this on our list for future travels to the Middlebury and Lake Champlain area. "

We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking.
