"The Kihei Akahi is a collection of condomiuniums and the one that I lived in was pretty near perfect. Spacious, comfortable and provided with all the amenities that a vacationer could possibly need. It was easy to make my own meals whenever I didn't feel like eating out. Each unit has a designated, free parking space. A perfectly fine beach was just a three-minute walk away. "My husband and I stayed 9 nights. It was the perfect location for us. We had rented a car at the airport and the free parking spot was appreciated. The condo had everything we needed for making meals but had lots of restaurants within walking distance. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunset and the beautiful beach was right across the street. The Kihei Akahi is beautifully landscaped and was very quiet. Perfect spot for making memories in Maui and hoping to return one day. "

"It’s a lovely and quiet area the beach is right across the street. Restaurant and shopping center are within a 10 to 15 min walk. They also provide towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cooler to use to take with you to the beach. The place is very clean and I cannot wait to go back."

"Conveniently located across the street from a very nice beach park with a great sunset view. Pool was nice and the kids liked it. Condo was as described in the listing. Check in was through a door code but had to check in with the community at the front desk and pay a 42 fee to them for use of the property. We enjoyed our stay and property was nice. Would stay again. "

"The condo was spacious and well equipped for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. A very nice beach is directly across the street which was wonderful for our group with kids. The pool area is very nice and we used it many times. We could sit on our lanai and watch whales and sunsets- and enjoyed coffee every morning looking at the ocean. Tad and Kathy are very nice hosts and very responsive. "

"We enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the easy communication with the host, and the quick resolutions to issues that came up! For example, the wagon was broken when we arrived and a new wagon was delivered two days later. Also, the host was very kind to let us check out late so our baby got his afternoon nap in. "
