"It was a great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again. It was super quiet, clean, close to volcano. The only thing I would say is the driveway had a huge hole if maybe it could be filled with rocks and the soap dispenser was stuck. Oh yeah and the coffee pot didn’t work. All in all they brought us soap right and way with a new coffee maker. Definitely would stay there again😃"

"Everything about this place is exactly what we expected. Wife and daughter loved it. Definitely a Big Island / Volcano experience. Small gripe, wished the parking was bigger, LOL."

"We loved the place, we were there for one night. For a longer stay I would have to address allergenic issues… but considering we were in a rainforest environment…it was expected.I brought what I needed. Very cozy feel, great shower! I recommend. "

"The Pacifica Inn is just a few minutes from the Volcano National Park and part of a great little neighborhood. Even though in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded and in your own little tropical forest. We stayed in the Gecko and Volcano rooms. I feel this is a best option when you are traveling with friends and/or another couple to have your own spaces ... but still in the same building/property. Communication with the host was great!"

"We found the place because it was close to the venue of a wedding we were attending. It was super cute and spacious. We stayed with 3 kids and the beach chairs/toys were lovely to have. Everything at the property was well labeled and little bonus snacks and extra sunscreen was great. The property owner lives upstairs and is super responsive with any question or concern. She even sent us a little note when a large rainbow appeared over the ocean one day! "

"Only there has been a little confusion when after booking 2 units for 2 people, and paying a full price, I received suddenly a message that one of my 2 units was cancelled. It made me worried about how I could accommodate both of us. At the end my 2nd person got ill and couldn’t come, so I used the one unit Nane."

"We enjoyed our rustic stay at Oceanview. Accommodations were just what we needed for this vacation. Visiting from Oahu, we wanted something away from city lights and this was perfect. The host was so nice and informational as we were notified when the volcano erupted so we were able to witnesss that spectacular event."

"There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted. However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint...

"Beautiful gardens and lovely accomodations. Clean and colorful unit with everything we needed. Proximity to south point was great for partner to go fishing off the shore. No AC, but weather is cooler and great breeze coming through house. Evenings were filled with frogs singing. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay here again."

"Annabelle is a wonderful host. This is definitely a piece of paradise. I liked the open living area to hang out in. Large bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Great location, within a mile of volcano. Golf course is even closer. Would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We wish we booked more nights. Lovely grounds. Easy drive to all sights in the south"

"Der er ingenting i lokalområdet - så sørg for at få handlet ind forinden. Hytterne er langt finere end på billedet og har alt hvad man havde brug for. Vi lavede både morgenmad og aftensmad her. Den flotte sorte sandstrand som ligger 10 minutters gang derfra er helt klart et besøg værd. "

"Loved our time at the Jungalow. So close to the park!! Easy to “pop” in… we were fortunate enough to see some actual lava flow/fountaining! We also were blessed with a clear night… seeing the stars from the park is truly incredible. Really appreciated the fireplace and the heaters as it was definitely much cooler than the Kona side. Spent some time on the porch watching the chickens… so fun to watch them interact! "
