"Do not choose best western Jaco. There was no decent food except for limited fruit at the buffet. Everything was overcooked and bland. The bartender at one of the bars was very kind, and the only upside was the open bar. The hotel is outdated and if the A/C unit Isn’t keeping you awake then the music blasting until midnight will. "First, this is a fantastic hotel. You have to know that it is on a large slope. They have golf carts to carry you up the hill if you need it, but you have to consider it if you have limited mobility. There is a wonderfull (public) beach you can walk to via a beautiful tropical forest manicured trail from the hotel. Wildlife is all around. "Alt for ubehøvlet personale. Elendig parkeringsforhold, hvor man bliver stoppet gang på gang. Får det ringeste værelse med lugt af mug. Klager og førs dagen efter få vi et andet værelse. Elendig service ved poolen. Bartenderen er direkte ubehøvlet og ekstrem arrogant. Drinksene smager af klorvand og koster alligevel 6-7 USD! Slet ikke den 5 stjernen oplevelse som de gøre sig selv til!"

"The smallness of this hotel allowed us to always have a comfy seat at the pool without having to get up early to reserve chairs. If we left for a couple hours in the afternoon, we didn’t feel the need to reserve anything. There was always a place for us when we came back. The breakfast was delicious and included! "The property is clean and well kept. It is attractive and very close the ocean and the main drag. No car is needed. My only advice to those considering a stay there is that there is very loud music until very late at night. If you want to sleep it can be very disturbing. On Saturday night it went on until 1:30 AM. "Fantastic customer service started before we even checked in. The front desk woman helped place an order at the restaurant to be ready when we got there because we were arriving later than expected with sleepy kids.
