"The hotel was beautiful. The property was well maintained. Everything you needed was available. If there was any area for improvement, it was at check-in, which took much longer than I expected, and our request to have rooms close to people we were travelling with was not accommodated even remotely. Not only where our room’s not close they weren’t even in the same towers. That was very disappointing."

"Service var i top, de ansatte var så søde. Lokation var perfekt, rigtig lækker strand. MEN hotellet var så slidt og ulækkert, der lugtede af mug på værelserne, aircondition larmede enormt meget, møblerne var ødelagt og malingen krakeleret. Det lignede slet ikke noget nær billederne. Tæppet på værelset var så beskidt at min datter på 8 måneder fik sorte knæ af at kravle på det. Kommer ikke tilbage igen."

"We had a wonderful trip staying at the Royal at the Atlantis and I loved how easy Expedia made it to book (thank you!) Our rooms were beautiful and we had the VIP experience. Everyone was so nice. A few small things I wish I had known going in... There is very little shade around the Royal. The only place with Umbrellas walkable from our building was the Mayan Pools and they are noisy and tends to be where the little kids were (we have teenagers.) The quieter pools have no umbrellas at all...

"The gate to the beach was locked in the late evening and wasn't opened until in the morning. We'd been hoping for a stroll along the beach after dinner, but that wasn't to be. "This is review is for the Ocean suites side. There are 2 properties, one in which you can walk to the other or take the free 5 min shuttle. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to take the 8 minutes water shuttle (operated by Renaissance) to go the the Flamingo island! This island is a must! "We went to Sandyport during spring break week and worried about crowded beaches but it was amazing! A shallow lagoon beach and private ocean beach, both lovely and not crowded at all! Each spot had chairs, umbrellas and hammocks and some easy food options. In the evening we could walk around the adjacent marina village and get yummy casual meals. A very easy and relaxing trip!"
