"Beautiful property right on the water. They have kayaks that we used and a sauna! They have two large cabins and plenty of beds. Very clean. Super quiet so if you want a relaxing vacation, here’s the spot. I definitely recommend. Also the hosts were really good at communicating and nice. "

"It's a really nice property out in the country. It is well taken care of. It would be great for a husband and wife with 2 kids. A group of 4 friends, you'd have to share beds or figure something else out. The bathroom is detached but it is a very nice bathroom. It's a nice comfortable place to stay."

"I have nothing but gushing reviews for my Makanda Cabin stay. The cabin was easy to navigate to. When I opened the door I found a clean, comfortable, well appointed place, with two good size bedrooms, living room with fireplace, a bathroom stocked with plenty of towels and soap. "The home was lovely. A little disconcerting to have any traps on the kitchen counter though. Tried to contact owner for departure instructions and they never answered so we just did what most vrbo renters have asked. Also, instructions regarding entry need updating. Talks about turning something but it is digital and you need to hit the lock symbol. Also, we brought steaks for the bbq seen in photo. It is a pellet stove. "Location is very good just 10 minutes walk from the French Quarter. Apartment is in good shape and very spacious. Getting into the apartment is difficult, use need to read instruction carefully. Did book for 3 adults, but there was no duvet for the 3rd person. I reached out the the service team on the Sonder app, but never got that duvet. 3rd person to sleep in sofa bed in living room, which is OK ( I knew by booking), but the sofa bed was not suitable for any person weighing more than 70...

"The cabins are large but a bit run down and cleaning is a little below standard. Beds where however clean and extremely soft. The surrounding area is industrial and the Resort is primarily for RV's. It has a restaurant and a small shop plus a large guest laundry. Not a bad experience and price is good. "
