"The house had just been completely renovated due to the recent hurricane damage. Jim did an excellent job with everything to make sure our stay was top-notch. All the furnishings and appliances were brand new. We took the bikes out every day to Siesta Key Beach, which was just down the street. Absolutely amazing, and it took under 5 minutes! "Everything was described accurately. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Dave communicated everything we needed to know. The only thing you could possibly dislike would be the road noise because the bedroom window faces toward Beach Road but Spring Break brings out activity into and out of the village until the bars close. "We had a great time in Nokomis at the Colonia Bay Cottage. The house was as described..the perfect get away retreat. Home was very clean with all the needed amenities . The view of the lagoon while sitting by the pool was perfect and only a short drive to the beaches! "

"Overall it fit our needs. Having Walgreens in a sixty second walking distance was a lifesaver. Especially when we ran out of toilet paper on day three of our stay. The really helpful information binder in the unit instructed us to contact the property manager if we ran out of TP but when we did, they said they supply 2-3 rolls and that would be enough for our five night stay. We were supplied a partial roll on the dispenser and one additional roll, not 2-3. All in all, it’s a minor expense, but...

"Loved my 10 day stay at this cozy, well appointed cottage. Wonderful location just a block off Dearborn Street. Farmers Market in the park alongside the accommodations every Thursday, many other events nearby to enjoy. Highly recommend!"

"The rental was outstanding and in a great location. It was close to the beaches and just a short walk to many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed having the pool. We were glad the owner took the time to check on us which is not always the case. this was a five stars plus stay!!!"

"The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a month’s stay. Host was responsive to questions and maintenance needs. Loved being just a 15-minute stroll from the beach! Quiet neighborhood, plenty of attractions a short drive away, shopping close by and easy to get to main roads. We were very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely consider staying here again!"

"Be careful when booking on expedia. I included my wife and I, and our two 4yos, and it still let me a book a studio with only a queen bed which said it only sleeps two, but i obviously overlooked it because i assumed it wouldnt let me book a room that only sleep two when we have four of us."
