"The family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend with great views from all the rooms and hallways with fresh air. The bed mattresses were really comfortable. However, there were bunch of issues including inefficient dishwasher, hazardous electrical outlets at the same level as the kitchen sink and no labels on the drawers or cabinets. It was time consuming search for kitchen stuff. Owner was not easily reachable. Otherwise it was value for money."

"A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. "

"We were there in july 2024, family of 4. Overall, great country cottage, with everything we needed! Couldn't ask for more!! We felt like home. Near Sandbanks and Picton. And breweries ...btw Slake brewery is a wonderfull place! A lots of games available too ! The outside, hamac, table and the fire pit is wow! Sunsets are amazing! The host was always available for my questions ! And fast response! We really appreciate our week there. I would go back anytime!!"

Checkin requires lengthy account creation, pass-port and face scanning, multiple and aggressive reminder emails and texts. Building access is through complicated codes on worn keypads. There is no front desk reception. No daily cleaning of rooms (and hence no coffee refills etc.). The building and rooms are nice. Nice gym. But the concept tries to minimise staff costs so much so, that it's just not a good...

"Sonder Arlo have been a perfect place to spend 4 nights for 3 people on our semi road-trip around Canada. We got great service from staff and the quality of the rooms, kitchen and two bathrooms in our 1 bedroom apartment was great. Only little minus is that parking only is offered in another Sonder two blocks away and if you have a larger car it can be kinda scary to use as it is very narrow parking garage. So maybe explore other parking options. "
