"Loved staying in the hotel. Very traditional Japanese style hotel. Room has your own heater and AC for summer. Sound insulation is pretty good. Room has plenty of space for my one person room. The only problem that I can't give 5 star is the bathroom. Seems like there's only 2 male and 2 female baths in the whole hotel, they are single people bath like they have in normal Japanese house. I only used it for one night and had to wait 10mins for the other guy to finish. I went for public baths...

"Wonderful pension in the outskirts of Biei town. Host family welcoming and kind, and provided authentic and great Japanese home cooking made from homegrown and local ingredients. Highly recommended! The only downside is the distance from the station."
