"The hotel is very nice, with an excellent gym. There are, however, a couple of things we found disappointing: first, the bed was really uncomfortable—the worst we’ve encountered in years. Second, there wasn’t very good communication about items such as what was expected of us in terms cleaning (eg taking out recycling), or how things worked in the hotel (eg are towels provided at the pool-yes). On the plus side: it was really clean, has a great location, and was well appointed. "

Close proximity to seawall/beach avenue walk, Granville Island, West End, Downtown and Yaletown amenities.Good communication with host, however, instructions on use of fob codes to enter garage were never given and we had to ask another resident for help who happened to be driving in behind us. He was understandably wary of our situation but ended up assisting us."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Maria's suite! We were only there for one night but I'd have loved to stay longer. Maria's communication was excellent and timely, the suite was spotless and so well appointed with helpful notes to aid the experience. The welcome basket was a fantastic bonus, as was the selection of teas and coffee, and cream (and also vegan options) in the fridge. Thanks Maria for a great stay!"

"Fabulous location. The procedure to obtain the key was most unsavoury, in a very seedy area where 2 police met us at the door to the supermarket where the key safe was located. Hate to have been on my own draging my case around there. Also quite uncomfortable with sooooo many personal family photos etc all over the walls including bedrooms. The only TV was in the main bedroom??? Difficult for 2 couples. Apartment had absolutely everything we needed. Plenty of eateries & lovely shops close by....

"Property is centrally located to everything and very easy to walk or short ride to almost all of the things. Our only negative was the beds, pillows and linens are not comfortable at all and very used but that may be personal preference. If in Vancouver I would possibly stay here again. "
