"The property is big so be prepared to do some walking. Or waiting to catch a shuttle. The beach was beautiful but rocky. I didn’t like that. The food was good. The area was in the right part of town with plenty of things to do. I’d suggest the place. "

"Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view. The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay. Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time."

"Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "

"Our trip was simply amazing. Love the view of the marina. Third time here & will be back. Anna & Francisco are truly amazing team members. They treat each customer with respect & kindness. 10/10 would recommend. However, 508A had some plumbing issues & we’d to call for maintenance. Overall great stay. "
